Our Vison for our building

The vision of a building that offers many opportunities for “docking” has grown among us. The spaces can accommodate new and existing work areas.

With the community center, GMS remains at the site of its origins and former home, and has a building that meets current and future needs.

For veteran GMS members and friends, it is the resurrection of old visions of a “house of light,” a “house of learning,” a “place of refuge” where people are blessed.

These visions originated in the 1970s and early 1980s and were then buried for a long time.

Use of the community center

The city uses the center as a space for town hall meetings, fire department meetings, and as a polling station. The village community of Frommetsfelden has a publicly accessible space for its events. The parish uses the community center for activities outside of worship for which the church is not a suitable venue.

Usable Space and Capacity

The community center has 875 m² of usable space.

Four rooms of various sizes, equipped with the latest projection technology and internet access, are available for events and conferences.

The 248 m² event hall can accommodate 200 people.
The 70 m² parish hall can accommodate a maximum of 70 people.
The seminar rooms are 27 m² and 40 m² in size.
A mother-child room with a view of the hall and a video link allows mothers with small children to participate in events.

The community center is located in Frommetsfelden (Leutershausen)
